Kapwned!
Yes, indeed… the Raptors get a thorough ass-whoopin by Milwaukee Bucks and now everyone’s in panac mode (sorry, had to go with the RealGM lingo). Don’t be surprised if you hear anything from trading Bosh, firing Sam or Bryan, hell even blaming Leo for our run of luck tonight (or lack thereof). Don’t get it mistaken, we did not lose to a scrub team – this year’s Bucks are deep, and not only that, they’re full of fire power. From their offensive minded guards (Redd, Mo, Bell) to their crafty big forwards (Charlie V, Bogut, and Yi), not to mention they’re quite a deep team – when healthy. We just got it handed to us today, BIG time. Every player on that Bucks team that played scored more than our franchise player who’s been playing crappier, slower, and weaker (think opposite of our intro music). I’m just hoping that we’ll see the Raptors basketball that we’re more accustomed to soon since these last two games were just way off. Four games into this season, we’ve seen a tough loss (to Boston), a tough win (home opener vs. Philly) a blowout win (vs. the Nets) and then our thorough ass-whoopin(tonight against the Bucks). We need to get tougher and find other ways to win when the shots aren’t falling. Against Boston, we got a lucky as TJ was on fire and kept us in the game while tonight we lived and died by the jump shot. I wouldn’t be surprised (or disappointed really) if Sam decides to insert Garbo, Rasho or Humphries back into the starting lineup since it seems we need to get a bit tougher inside. This is just one game down, and four to go in the next five days so, let’s hope we get back into the groove and see more Raptors team basketball.
he,he. another loss to the magic , mama mia !
‘i hate the raptors’ is such a fitting blog title since the raps are doing a great job stinking it up. i didn’t even get the chance to comment on last nights game since i had to get it on the replay. thank god for the fast forward button.
