Finally, we can all breathe a sigh of relief… the Raptors win and in convincing fashion. Although, it wasn’t all pretty the whole game, the Raptors tightened up and started making their shots. Early on, I was thinking it would be ‘one of those games’ with the Raptors shooting blanks in the first and going letting the Rockets start off with a 16-2 lead. It was great to know that we had Bosh back in the lineup, who had been playing amazing ball before he went down with the groin injury. If you’ve been watching the last couple games, you’d realize how stagnant our offense is without him, so it was great to see him back in action. To begin the game, Houston went on an assault usually ignited by McGrady driving to the hoop and dishing it out to an open Battier for wide open 3’s and by the half, down 45-34, it was hard to sense a turn around. But the Raptors came back with vengeance in the 3rd playing excellent on the defensive end and cause the Rockets to shoot horribly and score only 11 points in that quarter. This helped ignite their offense, which was once quite lethargic, where the Raptors made their shots which carried over into the fourth. Chris Bosh had an excellent game coming off of injury leading in minutes (41:40) and grabbing a double-double with 21 and 10, not to mention 4 blocks and 3 assists. Kris Humphries had an amazing game off the bench as well, 1 board shy of a double double with 16-9 in only 23 minutes. Great to see the Raptors pull this one off and hopefully it’ll carry on through December, where the Raptors are looking at a VERY tough schedule.
